Dr. Kim Windschauer

Acupuncture Physician

I am a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as well as the Florida State Board of Health, to practice both Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

"For 26 years, I was blessed to be a stay at home mom. I strived to instill the core value of family into the essence of my children. During this time, I became an accomplished Uber driver, Nurse, Nutritional Consultant, Sous-Chef, Child Development Analyst, Stylist, Child Psychologist, Director of Recreational Activities, Event Planner and Life Coach. When my husband and I decided that our family was done expanding, I saw it as an opportunity to explore personal growth. As Natural Medicine had always been of interest to me, I focused my journey along this path, where I landed upon Traditional Chinese Medicine."

I Am A Native Floridian

I graduated with honors from East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, Florida, and am a member of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association (FSOMA). I am also a certified transformational coach.
I have a Masters in Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services, from East West College of Natural Medicine, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida, where I was a fine arts/ballet major.

Dr. Kim’s goal is to transform her patient’s state of wellness through compassionate communication, patient education, and the appropriate medical modality. As her patients are reflective of her commitment, her success is therefore measured through each individual’s achievement of optimal health.

I am one of the few native Floridians, born and raised right here in St. Petersburg. My husband, Bob, and I have been married for over 32 years, and have nine amazing children: Tyler, Jordann, Gabriel, Kevin, Annalyse, Lucas, Olivia, Cameron, and Addison. While the first five have moved into their own homes, we are far from “empty nesters,” having four children and four dogs running around the house to keep us on our toes!
